WHO IS ANGELA PANZARINO

Angela has evolved from a hairdressing and make-up background. The creativity fromt he beauty industry has transpired onto canvas in art form.

WHAT IS SHE ABOUT

Angela's abstract are large modern works on stretched canvas, characteristics being boldness in colour and texture. Her favourite subject is the form of the human body.

WHEN IT HAPPENED

Friday night, the 24th of October 2003 Balmain Town Hall Angela debuts into the art world. After months of preparation coordinating 19 other artists, she holds her first art exhibition. At 6.30 pm over 2000 people wandered through the aisles of art to a successful night. During this night her body cast was auctioned off and funds were going to cancer research at St Vincent's Hospital. Angela sold her first five paintings and in the next week 18 more sales were completed.
